    Butt on Fire???

As I was driving the other day I got the feeling that my ass was on fire (that my heated seat was on). I look down and see that it’s on 0 and for a moment I thought to myself that it was just me. I let it pass for a few minutes, but then it started to get hotter and hotter. This is not right, so I cycle the power all the way to 6 give it a few seconds and notice that it’s the same temp that it was on the whole time. I take it back to 0, then after a bit my butt starts to cool down.

Taking it to the dealership tomorrow to which I’m sure they will say its working normal.

Anybody else have this or know of a TSB for it?

the heater coil in my A4 went, and literally cooked the seat. that thing can get HOT!!!! Audi replaced it no problem. the service rep told me of a guy that had a fire start from his seat heater coil.

That happened to my driver's seat. The seat got really hot and then the heater no longer worked afterwards.
