    Thoughts on the Neuspeed P-Chip

What do people think of the neuspeed p-chip... and once your car is chipped, is there any additional programming that you have to do to keep it running optimally?

Is there anyway to tamper with how the chip is programmed after it has been installed in the ecu?

The reason I ask is because I have the Neuspeed chip and after I took my car to KTR in Ayer, MA (which I would NOT recommend) My car wasn't reaching the boost levels it had been before I took my car there. Before taking my car to them, I was able to achieve boost levels of 1.72bar max... however, after taking my car to KTR, (all they were doing was exhaust gasket change at the turbo)... my car ran as if in limp mode. Not boosting more than .30bar.. not even the 8psi stock boost level!

    Any thoughts?

And NEVER USE KTR. Horrible service. Just and FYI for my fellow Audio drivers!!

the nospeed chip is better than no chip, but someone correct me if I'm wrong but 1.72 bar sounds like too much boost for that chip, thats around 24 psi

yeah that is wrong. that would be an overboost situation...

my car is set up for a 21psi max

which i think is actually around 1.52bar?

What is the difference between the different chips?

A kid I know had a Neuspeed P-Chip and P-Flo on his 1.8T GTI and I took him on the highway with a GIAC chip and exhaust.

I had a Neuspeed chip on my car back when I first got it in 1999. I run APR now by choice and the APR chip feels so much stronger.
