Hey all, I think it's time to put up the helmet and jacket for my riding career. One too many close calls and one too many friends getting hit has taken a lot of the fun out of riding here in Vegas.
My loss is your gain, take advantage of the gorgeous spring and summer riding months to show off one of the most exclusive bikes around! Not to mention you'll get ~40MPG while zipping around town.
Anyways, here's what we got.
2006 Scorched Yellow Triumph Daytona 675. This bike is THE supersport bike of 2006/2007. The handling, power curve, and sound is about as good as it gets. It's light, nimble and so easy to flik around that it should be illegal!
It's got 5105 miles on the ODO. I did an oil change at 500 miles with dino oil, another at 1500 miles with partial synthetic and another at 3000 miles with fully synthetic to ensure everything broke in correctly. It never went over 10k rpms during the first 800 miles (Which is pretty difficult to do on such a sweet bike) and it's been super strong since. I keep the chain lubed every 3-500 miles and the tranny shifts like butter. the tires also have plenty of tread as well, so they are good to go.
I did a couple mods; i got a twin-light driver which turns the high beams on at a lower voltage so both lights turn on, but doesn't blind on-coming traffic. I also did a tail tidy for the license plate so it doesn't jut out like a sore thumb anymore. I also exhaust wrapped the mid-pipe in order to help lower temps under the saddle to help cool things down. I didn't go towards performance mainly because i knew i could never take full advantage of its current power. There's also the necessary tank protector and shifter glove to prevent scratches on the tank and your shoes.
The bike has been garaged when not ridden, so the paint is still shiny and new. Now for a couple picts..
I have the title in hand, so cash outright works best. You can contact me at yoogene83 at gmail dot com or via PM here. I have bought and sold tons of stuff here, so you can buy with confidence. I would rather not ship it either, so if you want to buy, i'd recommend flying out and riding it back; you won't regret it!
I'm asking $7299.
I'm also in no rush to sell. I worked hard to find and purchase this bike, so if the right buyer doesn't come along, i'll keep it and admire it's beauty in the garage and maybe take it out on nice weekends.
