Upgrading turbos, need some advice....

So, The turbos are about done and I am looking to upgrade to k04's. Car is currently Revo'd and all maint. has been done. I'm not trying to spend 7k on upgrades at once as this is one of 3 modded cars I own. I was thinking of picking up a set of k04's and inlets, maybe the bigger maf and FPR as Matrix told me was needed. I haven't heard back yet as to how well it will run off the revo program. My question is, does this route sound correct and is there anything else that should be done at the same time as far as the turbo setup? I've been told that this would be considered a stage 3- and should run off GIAC which "should make around 400hp" ANy help and advice would be great guys. Thanks- Mike

If that is the route you want to go then you will need a 5bar FPR, GIAC stage 3- file, or VAST stage 3- file. If your car is a 2000 then you will want to upgrade to the hitachi MAF. VAST can get you all setup with that. Good luck.

your post is a bit confusing. Are you going to be using the same revo software you where using on your k03's, or are you going to be upgrading it to stage3 or 3-? if your sticking with the same software you where running on k03's then you do dont want a bigger maf, and fpr. wait till you go full stage or 3-.

Two options;

Stg3- w/ K04's, inlets, hardware, 5bar FPR, Hitachi MAF, GIAC stg3- software
~400bhp

Stg3 w/ AWE RSK04 kit(everything you pretty much need minus a few extra pieces of hardware we supply or (K04's, inlets, hardware, Hitachi MAF, stock 4bar FPR and AWE fueling kit w/ big MAF sensor, AWE/GIAC RSK04 software, etc)
~450bhp

Larger MAF housing is ONLY used w/ stg3, not stg3-.

I ran my K04s on REVO for 9 months but it was lemmiwinked. Was good for 300whp. Just make sure to get a MBC and set it at 17psi to be safe. Anything higher may cause you to lean out. Without MBC you may get nasty boost spikes... Curious did your KO3s blow? Mine did, I believe, from REVO's shitty software.. And yes you want a 5 bar FPR... If you dont have GIAC I dont think its worth paying for the Stage 3- software unless you plan on later going with AWE fueling..
