    Where can I get this stuff for B6 taillights ? I remember readin about it here a while back. Any help ?

    i got my lamin-x film over at racinglab. be aware though, i DID get pulled over for my taillight (blacked out) and headlight (yellow) tint. got a fix-it ticket and $100+ down the drain. ah well, it was worth it for the 6-7 months i had em on. i guess =(

    oh wow really ? well I just ordered it from lamin-x. got charcoal for the back / blue-gray for the front and yellow for the fogs. Is the stuff hard to apply yourself ?

    ^ its easy and hard at the same time. i mean it's just lay overs, lay it over your lights boom your done.

    buuut... the hard part is fitting it precisely, making sure there's no air bubbles, etc. make sure to apply it on a hot sunny day so the film will be easier work with and if it all, use a blow dryer to apply and especially taking it out.

    and ofcourse, take your sweet ass time.

    thats what im afraid of which is why i haven't gotten the yellow ones. that sucks though.

    ^ heh. i say get the yellow tint. who knows, you may never be pulled over.

    but if you have HIDs your beams are gonna have a greenish tint to it. i know mine were lol.

    I install Lamin-X. The trick is to wax the film before you put it on. Use a soapy solution on the outside when you squeegee (to prevent scratches, and they will happen anyways, but reduced). Use a alcohol/water solution on the adhesive to have a little wetness, but the alcohol will dry out fast. if this helps at all. good luck!

    ya i still wana, 1sicknickel hasn't been pulled over...knock on wood, sorry pete! i've seen his with the HID's and they are greener but still brighter than halogens! what city were you in when this happened?

    got pulled over on 605S hoppin onto the 60W. it was end of the month, cop just needed to meet quota i guess


    here's a shot of them last year back on "version 3" of my TT (on ver. 4 =D )
