    Constant Power in engine bay????

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Hey there I am looking for a wire that I can tap into that has constant power with ignition on and once ignition is off there would be no power. I need this source to be in the engine bay, I thought I had the wiring diagram for the B5 but I dont and can not find this info, I was thinking into taping into the ignition coil but that would be my last choice any other ideas?

What are you wiring in? Does it draw a lot of current? You could run a wire through the ECU firewall opening to the 75x tap.

Run a wire through the ECU firewall opening to the 75x tap and use it to trigger your relay.

FWIW, this is how I ran power to my headlight motors.

wire the relay up inside the car and then just run the wires to the fogs/ DRL, easy to place the realy out of the weather and connect to the x75 and or x30 pins, dependant what you need
