B7 Wheel into B6 question

i am looking at installing a B7 wheel and i won't use the Multi-function because i won't have RNS-E so do i still need the control module and SC ring? Can i just install it and splice the airbag wires and wire it up for one stage deployment? Can i just do direct swap with airbag harness and 4-pin connector?

these are the parts that are listed as needed for the swap when using the multi-function with an RNS-E. Also, if i'm not using the RNS-E i don't need VAG correct?

just making sure because if i still need the SC ring and control module it's not worth it because i won't be using an RNS-E, i'm going to go with the AVIC-D3.

if it does work then i will have a B6 USP wheel w/ airbag for sale.
