    shiny wood paneling

    I have always use pledge for the wood paneling in my car. Just curious what you guys think. Is that the right product for the job? if not please tell me why and maybe what you would recommend.

    Are you suggesting this cause you have tried it, or because you see everyone suggesting this product on the forum?

    I've used it and love it for interiors. Nice mat finish.. but doesn't bring back any gloss as I thought. Just don't put any petroleum based products.

    Used it and love it. The only thing missing is the protection from what I hear from Phil or Mike, this do not have UV protection but does clean and leaves a nice matte but new look. Love the scent as well.

    indeed.

    UV protection is mostly marketing now. Look at the windows stickers and some will give you a UV rating. So it's much better protection than cars 10 years ago.

    However for a convertible it's another story.

    I'll be ordering a gallon of cockpit premium and VRT from phil, cause there's no retailer here in Canada

    I did this A6 last week, cleaned with cockpit premium and P21S on the wood trim.

    That's exactly how I like my dash to look like, everything flat/matte but let the glossy ones be shiny like the wood trim.
