    It appears that all Stage 1 software owners wether it be APR, Revo or GIAC are pretty happy with the results. I had GIAC b4 APR and I was very Happy with it. Only reason I switched was due mainly to the Mods I had done .... I found APR to suit those needs better for my overall car plans. To Bad I cant get my GIAC money back :(

    But ...
    You know you are making the right choice if you have made the descision Based on what your Future plans are with you car and how the software will be upgradeable down the line .. and that your have A good relationship with your local tunner shop. You dont want to buy something that you need to drive for hours to get service with either. research pays off.

    REVO !!!!! its worth it, you will not be unhappy, just give it 2 days or less to adapt and it will be perfect.

    after 3k rpm it just picks up!

    go dv our cars don't do well with bo valve's. I don't know the exact reason but jus search the forums nd you'll find it.

    Closed loop turbo. The car meters air to put in the system and mixes fuel accordingly. If you have a BOV after the air is metered, the car will think there is more air than there actually is and you will run rich. Which is not good for the engine.

    Good choice getting the Revo. There are definitely noticable performance gains especially once that turbo starts boosting around 3k RPM's. I'm currently revo'd with carbonio intake and the forge dv. If you are looking for that turbo "PSHHH" sound, the carbonio paired with the forge dv is a good choice. When you let of the gas under heavy boost, it definitely lets off a very noticable sound. Obviously the sound decreases under less boost. Unfortunately I don't have any input about how the DV sounds with stock intake as I had both the DV and intake installed at the same time. At any rate, from what I have read, it seems that installing a DV is almost a necessity when you get chipped as the life of the stock DV is greatly reduced under the increased boost pressure.

    sounds very quiet with stock intake. Even with drop in filter.
