Hook me up- Bumper

As some of you may have seen, my bumper is royally f-ed. I need a new one. My dealer quoted me well into the $1000 range all in. Bumper + Paint + Install. I'm calling shenanigans! My SA is really cool and he has been working on it. He said he's got it down under $1000 now, but not by too much. He says he got a 'break' on the factory bumper at $453, which sounds like highway robbery to me. I know I have seen some of ya'll pick up S-Line bumpers for around $300. So, please let me know where you've gotten your S-Line/DTM bumpers, how much you paid, where I can find one, blah blah blah. Any vendors who can possibly help me out would really be appreciated!
My dealership has their price. I just won't pay it. They rock, are mod friendly, and I love their service experience, but this just doesn't sound fair. Please let me know what it cost you all-in, too. Thanks!!

Well someone hit my last winter and I had to get my bumper replaced on my non-sline 07 A4 and it cost me just about a grand. I had it done by my dealer though.

S line bumpers are like $425 or around there

I'm sure this has been addressed before, please don't flame me. Will the RS4 bumper fit the A4? I know just about every body part is different, the only thing I see on the bumper that may not work is the wheel well starts flaring on it.

Nope, you can get a knock-off from eurogear. We are heading to ennis friday if the weather holds up, you interested? Oh wait you were going to a concert right.

RS4 won't fit? Yeah, I'd love to, but I'm going to see RUSH! And I got a CEL today. I'm honestly getting a little burned out on all of this... I love the brand but this particular car is getting old quickly!

Not sure about the RS4 fitment.. I doubt it but there's an alternative. Hofele makes a RS4-look body kit for the B7A4 available at LLtek.com

Seems way too pricey though.. especially considering it's made of fiberglass.

mine is in the shop, turns out my fuel cuts were partially related to a bad MAF thats been going for quite some time. Do you know what the CEL was for? Hang in there, its proboly a DV or PCV

Haven't found out yet.. It just came on this afternoon.
Been checking out ebay, actually found a couple of S-Line bumpers painted brilliant black already for a little less than the dealer wanted for a new unpainted bumper. I remember one person on here got a killer deal on an S-Line bumper.. Anyone else have experience with ebay? Good sellers? Bad ones?

if I had to get a new bumper I would prob go w/ the eurogear RS4 one, it'll fit and you can do the S6 LEDS and it'll look sexy.

Just looked it up- not sure if I'm a huge fan. Definitely not worth $740 to me. Grilles and hardware included, it's not that bad. I'm looking mainly for a DTM.. S-Line will work!

no it won't, rs4 bumper is apart of the rs4 widebody so it wouldn't work for our a4's
