help s4 boost problem

i have a 2001 s4 i just bought the boost gauge goes to 5-6 pounds sometimes the car goes to 20 pounds but most of the time 5-6 i just switched the n75 valve still same problem the car has hyperboost diverter valves can someone please help if they had the same problem

pressure test for leaks. TBB mainly.

Your boost hoses may be expanding when boost is high and you are losing pressure. Stock hoses and diverter valves on the B5 can't take the added boost produced by an ECU upgrade.

^^^I highly doubt that is the reason for him going into soft limp mode.

Are your dv's splitters or true dv's?

Do a boost leak test. Log block 115 using VAG com.

^ 50% boost into atmosphere ( blow off valve) 50% into recirculation :)
