Oh shit! Somethings not right. That GT28R should put down more power than that. Atleast in the 240 awhp range. Which REVO file do you have? 440cc or for the 550cc? I ask because you're using a VR6 MAF with 440cc injectors.

You need an SPS 3 for starters.

first off do you have a GTRS as in a GT2860r or a GT28R as in the turbo that comes in AWE's kit? Next what settings were you on for boost and timing and what fuel?

Do you have vag com? If so do a log and check 003, 020 and 031 and for the heck of it do 115 too even though you said you are holding 21psi. Better be careful and get this fixed or you are gonna have your Beta Alpa Tau membership revoked!

- Yah I have the AWE Kit and switched to REVO. I figured I would have the ability to tune, and option to use it with a bigger turbo in the future.

I was off on the power, I did a quick search and found that with the AWE kit and their software with 100 octane on a mustang dyno a member did 263whp 254tq and on pump gas (93) 233whp 243tq think this was on a dyno dynamics machine.

I personally think you have no business running a 3" maf with that small turbo and with that software and injectors, that could be a problem first off.

it could be screwing up your air/fuel ratio. That is why I told you to log block 031 but you don't have vag com. Did you dyno on race or pump gas as well, please tell me pump? That dyno is still heart breaking though.

It was on pump gas. The tech told me that my car was running lean. Something like 12.5 during the run

3" MAF with 440's is most definitely causing the car to lean out, which is pulling all your timing

A GT28r on pump gas is going to be lucky to make 225-235whp. Dont know why people say 300whp on the small GT28r. It is the turbo that APR/AWE/PES use and they all claim around 270-280 CHP.

The B6 is not going to run lean at WOT because the car sets at target AFR which it will try its best to hit. The B6 doesn't run a wide band 02 for nothing.


BTW the Revo BT tune uses a stock maf not a 3", that is going to throw off the load and timing. Also if you just get the BT tune you better talk to the person you got it from because after having a talk with David at Eurocode the BT tune has been for 550cc injectors for a few years now.

Yah Ill be getting a set of 550cc injectors here pretty soon. I honestly thought that I would be putting down atleast 250AWHP. I'm so dissappointed in the output of the kit.

Your using a larger MAF and smaller injectors then what your file was designed for, bad combo. You should probably sort that out first and see how it runs after that. Your fuel trim might be around +50%

Mike is talking about the APR Stage 3 kit for the B5 A4. That kit uses the GT28r.

APR stage 3+ kit puts out 245whp on a dyno dynamics. I don't see the AWE GT28r kit making 233whp/243wtq on a DD.
