    Re: VAG Help

I have a bad idle. Everytime I come to a stop the car dies. I just changed my battery about three weeks ago and the problem started after that. Two nights ago I disconnected my battery for 20 minutes, then reconnected it, turned the key but didn't start it for three minutes and then I turned it on. That was suppose to reset the idle, but it did not work. Lastnight i took the MAF off and cleaned it and when I get home today I going to put it back on and see what happens. I don't think it is going to work. The next thing I am going to do tomorrow is change my fuel filter. But from what I have been reading on this site, it sounds like I might have to reset my throttle with the vag. I am in College Point.
