alert function?

Hi mods,

Is there an alert function - i.e. can I get an email notification when a certain term (e.g. BBS) is posted in a specified forum (e.g. FS: Wheels/Tires)

No, I'm not a moderator, but I do know (or I'm pretty sure) that it can't do it by keywords. Here's what you can do though..

1) Subscribe to the forum you want to.
2) Have it email you (obviously)
3) Setup a rules wizard in your mail client to handle specific keywords (in your case, BBS), and then dedicate that into your inbox or choice of a folder.

I've done this before, works well.

Yeah there's no feature like that built into vBulletin, but I'll keep my eyes open for any hacks.
