Hey guys we got bored the other night after a long days work and decided to beat on my car some. So we shot some vids from outside the car and in the car with our soon to be released JHM camera mount. (EliteDrumr made the original, so you may have seen it.)

It had 91 octane in it so it wasn't wailing the tires off as hard as it does on race gas. But did quite well regardless. On the in car you can calculate my 0 to 60 and it looks to be less than 4 sec easily. Not bad for 91 octane with a single 3" cat back and stereo system in the car.

Pics of the camera mount. (Looking to sell them for $99 plus shipping as an intro price). We know there are other more exotic options, but this gets the job done and is made in the states, plus we thought we sould give a lower cost solution. 91 may not be perfect, but its not nearly the garbage water that everyone makes it out to be. In particular since most 94 in my country is polluted with 10% ethanol.

Try california's 91 octane. The timing never gets as high as gas in most other states. Ask any tuner. That is why you hear the whining. But yeah my car is still plenty quick. Just making a factual observation that my car will blow of the tires harder with better gas.

Hmmmm. Maybe some race gas and some worn tires over inflated. That would be a toughy with a stock diff. With the stasis 4:1 it is very doable though since it transfers more power to the rear on accel. Great diff for road racing too.

yes, since it swivels 360 degrees that can be done as well. From the passenger side it gets a better angle.

Bottom line if you add a camera mount to about any car, no matter where you put it there is a hazard in a crash. The camera can fly off as well on any temporary solution. On a full race car with it mounted to the roll bar, that is a different story.

I made a camera mount for my car, swivels up, down, left right, you name it. Unfortunately the camera that is mounted to it happens to suck.

It would be a VAST flywheel if I didn't already have an AWE on it that came with the car. (It was replaced under warranty for the slipped crank sensor ring that happens at about 50k+ of use.)

Unfortunately my customer picked up his car a while ago and I wouldn't launch a customers car like that unless he was there and told me too and had already paid for his bill.

Kit is ready for sale, just need to update the site. Got my first batch of my 90mm MAF setups in already that bolt to the RS$ airbox.

I actually didn't I did a half lift of the throttle. So close to a power shift, lots of practice to get it down and my poor car keeps taking it. Thanks.

Yup, it has been on for a while for a stupid EVAP system leak code (already tried a fuel cap in a lazy effort). I can't find the time to sit down and diagnose it. Plus with smog not due for another year I have no motivation also it doesn't change how the car runs. That is what sucks when you own a shop, after fixing other peoples crap you don't want to deal with your own.

Yeah, but that is why I love it. I do that kind of crap almost on a weekly basis and she just smiles back. Maybe not that many in a row, but launch it randomly at a stop sign if I got a "virgin" rider in the car.

What is left of a 3" APR single. I chopped out both APR mufflers and through in a Dynomax Race Muffler. As soon as I get the free time I will be running a single 4" like we built for Dan's car with a Dynomax race muffler and a small race bullet to keep the ricer noise away that I have now. I have all the parts, just need the downtime to do it. But it is a good thing I don't have the down time, for the business at least.

Could be, but last time it was up in the air I had good clearance, but with all the launching and racing it could have easily shifted. From what I read in the Bentley it seems like a lack of vacuum for the system to the pump in the drivers rear wheel well. So I just need to take the time to pinpoint it.

It is the VAST hi flow fan that is tapped into the factory switch that kicks it on at roughly 200 F coolan temp. The motor for the fan sits pretty close to the belt, so just don't want to risk slamming the motors belt into it and hurting the radiator when it is running. When you launch like that there is significant movement even with all the driveline mods I got to keep it tighter. When I race I yank the fuse out for it. Probably going to make a disable switch for it.

Well that switch is located in the lower rad hose and from the factory only turns on the small aux fan on the passenger side. I just tap into it for the EFK so It is automatic when it hits that temp or the A/C is on. With the stock fan running from the motor pulleys and the A/C off your car shouldn't reach that temp to trigger it. So you should be fine. Plus it is a quiet fan. If your temp is sitting in the middle all is well.
