I knew it was just a matter of time, 1st page has the photos, and the second page has the dyno runs. And you said it wasn't going to happen.

They haven't begun the tuning of that one yet, so those passes are about half throttle, mostly I think just to make sure the parts are all working. He'll I'm sure post the vid's when they really start making the power runs. I'll provide a redirect.

Too bad the 6 speed in that car is one of the most awful transmissions I've ever touched.

    Pretty car though.

Fully loaded G costs 46k if you pay MSRP, you're saying the twin turbo's costs around 30k? I think you are mistaken my friend.

Re: The TT 2008 G37 Coupe......

i am? the new m3 sedan msrp = 54k, coupe = 57k. that tt setup HAD to run 10, probably 15 grand. so that puts homeboy at what, close to 60k?

and you've still got stock g37 brakes and suspension. doesn't make sense..

Didn't notice that the new M3's are even cheaper than some e46 M3's, I'm sure that made some e46 owners happy.

Brakes are actually different on an S, They are freakin huge. They require a 19" wheel to run.

The voided warranty would be a downside, but I'm sure the 450+ Hp will make up for it.

i was surprised too. i thought they were closer to 70k.. of course 'msrp' with bmw is rarely reflective of reality. once you get the optional tires, a/c and windshield.

but a voided warranty on a $50k car? i guess if you have 50k to burn.. scary. and we all know that doubling the stock power NEVER results in broken parts. =)

Probably one of the best car decisions I've made, by now if i bought another Audi it would have probably been in for servicing twice. But I still rubber neck it when I see some nice Audi's. Maybe if the S5 comes down I'll get one of those also depending on gas prices.

"Optional tires, a/c & windshield"? Uhm. I don't know where you buy cars but aren't those standard features? Call me crazy.

Anyways....nice ride. I just picked up a G37 6MT as well. I've had an 03 A4 before and the G37 is a totally different car all together. Still miss my A4 but I'm loving the G37. As far as the M3....Stevens Creek BMW had a white one with an MSRP of over 70K. I think the 54K price is a bear bones M3 that you have to order. No dealership, In my opinion, would want to have a bear bones M3 in their lot.

i wouldn't call you crazy, just completely lacking a sense of sarcasm. thanks for not getting the joke. you bought the right car.

and yes bmw's are [in] famous for just making you add just about everything as an option.

they are hott cars, but as stated i would not want to void my warranty on my $50k car! and no new m3 are not $50g's. However i would take a 135/335 over the g37 and those are $35-55k! With a tune/exhaust you are pushing 400whp!
