If you were going on a road trip with your audi what would you take with?

What would you take with so your not stranded on the side of the road in the middle of no where since Audi parts and fluids are so hard to come by. I'm going on another trip total miles about 2500 miles and was just curious to see what you guys would take with you

I usually take the following

Oil
G12
A few coil packs
tool box

a honda chase car.

i like the list...CPs first and foremost. also a couple of spare signal/brake bulbs...cant hurt for $5 total and eliminating additional probable cause for the PoPo to pull you over should one burn out.....plus the bulb out warning on the display is annoying.

oh...and any jack other than the "widow maker" Audi so kindly provided you with in your trunk...just in case you get a flat tire you dont wanna lose a limb while changing it.

Only thing I keep in my car are extra spark plugs, 3 coil packs, a rag, a quart of synthetic motor oil, a sleeping bag and a thermarest..

My road trips are upwards of 1,000miles each way and I do it quite frequently (once a month minimum).

I'm about to go down to santa barbara next wednesday from seattle for Bimmerfest 2008.

I'm putting spare tools, jump box, quart of oil, power steering fluid, glass cleaner and rags. Probably a few other stuff i haven't thought of yet.
Pretty much what was in the pic posted in the link above.

Oh and i taped up the front for easy bug removal once i get down there.

Did it yesterday cause i'll be too busy until i leave to do it. No i'm not driving around like this. I have my m3 to take me where i need to go. The a4 sits in the garage waiting for this long trip.

My freaking vag com is a must. Tools, rags,oil,ps fluid,water, g12,zip ties, glue, basically anything useful. Money for the tow and repair bill.

spark plugs, coil packs, signal bulbs, wheel cleaner, rags, duct tape/electrical tape, sealant, spare tire, tools, coolant, oil, PS fluid, music, and a gas station on my trailer hitch that i don't have!

The "Widow Maker" sucks, but i use it for everything i do, so i guess that make me suicidal?

Here's my list in order..

1) A girl (surprised noone has said that yet)
2) A can wait no, a ROLL of Cope natural
3) My phone
4) AAA card
5) At least 50 bottles of Gatorade (Orange-Strawberry FTW)
6) Sunglasses
7) Radar detector
8) Misc. car parts (oil, coil packs, etc.)

Now all of the others I consider are a given (clothes, wallet, and things of that nature).

I was referring to basic maintenance/stranded items that I routinely carry with me. I guess you can add my mountain bike since my trips are typically to a bike race or somewhere to ride.

This is what my car will haul weekly, beginning next month.

CRF250R
Gas can
Dirt bike parts (chain, sprockets, oil, filter, extra bars, ETC.)
Spare front Rim/tire for the CRF
Tools
Bike stand
Race apparel
Coil packs
Synth oil for the car
Brake fluid for the car
G12
Handy Dandy ACE Hardware 1/4" ratchet set. (You can pretty much tear this car down with one of these)

Yes, I know you may be wondering.....My Audi will have a hitch next month and be pulling a trailer to all the local races.

BTW....I would like to purchase a set of REAR springs off of an S4. PM me if you have some....I'll consider USP 3.0 springs, but I'm not sure the rate is stiff enough.

Haha, I can't afford an enclosed trailer just yet. Also, my 250 gives me enough of a workout as it is. A 450 would rip my arms clean off LOL!

I'm just startin out (my first officially recorded AMA year) so I'm 250 C. I'm near the front of the pack though so 250 B next year will be fun! I just raced a Grand Prix last weekend and finished 2nd place out of 11 riders. Pretty much a confidence builder!

I roll around with a Torin Aluminum Race Jack from Pep Boys.
Fits right under my Oetty Kit and the jack itself only weighs 20+ lbs.
