    Hi,

For B6 A4's we recommend a 225/40/18 or a 235/40/18 as the widest. You can pull off the 245's but they will probably rub over large bumps, hard cornering, full cabin. Nothing a simple fender roll cant fix though. Feel free to give me a call at (714)442-7916 ext. 107 my names Charles.

    Thanks,

the 245-40-18's with the VMR 18's fit my B6 A4 just fine. No rubbing even under hard cornering.

Well there we go! We have 1 confirmed person who said it is fine. But do know, there are other guys who have more sloppy suspension which can lead to possible rubbing.

Very true charles. I have a fairly aggressive suspension setup. So OEM Sport 'may' rub if thre is a lot weight in the car or if you hit large bumps. I run 245 Dunlop snows (rounded edge) in the winter with poor to fair quality roads and 245 Khumo MX's (square edge) in the summer.. Neither set has rubbed any where.
