    hey guys,

    just wondering..

whats the widest i can go on 18's, with a dropped s4.. without it rubbing?

im getting a set of 18's.. and i was thinking of getting some nice and wide rubbers..

    what do you guys recommend?

the rims are 18x8 ET 35.. wtv that means.. 18 is height , 8 is weidth, ET 35? dont know..

here's some pics of the car.. to see how low it is..

so what do you guys think? 255? 265? and should the front and back be the same size ? considering AWD?

help me out a little guys.. thanks

Depend's on how low it is. My front ride height is 25" and I rubbed with 235's until I rolled the fenders.

ET 35 is how offset from the center of the wheel. English. How far it sticks out twards the fender. With a 18x8 you wouldnt wanna try going with a higher offset like ET40. ET35 is perfect, as for tire width. 235 is prolly the widest you wanna go depending on how low you are or if you are at all. Either way with an 8in wide wheel you wouldnt wanna go much wider otherwise the tire will stick out too far past the wheel. AND another thing to consider some tire brands/types run wider then some tires in the same exact size. For example, some kumho tires, yokohama, goodyear F1 all seasons. Tires like that run wider then for say a falken or a BFG ect. Id go with a 235/40/18

    Re: Quick Question (Tire Size)

ditto no wider than 235/40/18 you still may experience some rubbing. roll the fenders if need be.

    Re: Quick Question (Tire Size)

    lol @ 255s and 265s

you can squeeze an 8 1/2 in there, but you'll for sure have to roll the fenders. I suppose you can do 245/35, but from past experience, I wouldn't run anything smaller than a 35 series tire.

235/40/18 is your ideal tire size if you want to go wider than stock.
