RS4 style bumper (Yep I found another good one)

Ok I found another bumper and with a little modding by taking out the swag line I would say it's quite a good match and the plus side is that the OEM RS4 grills fit.

i have that one... its fiberglass and thats a big no no for me... i do like that the rs4 grilles fit but i decided to switch to an authentic rieger.... does anyone know if i can transfer the grilles over?

Nope you can’t swap the grill over to the rieger unit as they don't fit.

The bumper is mixed with plastic and fibreglass so it should be more flexible and TUV approved stuff from Germany is of a very high standard and not like the stuff of ebay which can be mainly cheap and nasty.

That is a translation so I would say that they supply the bonding stuff to mount it on to your bumper iron.

sika flex is a caulk type sealent. great shit, use it foe windows in houses and stuff. stays flexable and is really strong.

Dimensions are exactly the same as OEM RS4 bumper, licence plate recess included.

Only difference is the crease, which is easily filled / smoothed, and the fact it's designed for the slim-shouldered A4.

I have to agree the number plate area is larger than OEM as I euro plate would cover the top and bottom area and it's clear there would be bumper still showing if a Euro plate was fitted.

Well a member on another forum I'm on just fitted one of these to his Pre-facelift S4 and it look sweet.

It's been a busy bank holiday! The Dietrich front end is finally on, complete with genuine RS4 grills. Looks pretty good, fairly oem styled, fit was good too, not to over the top but something a bit different. Closest to genuine rs4 so far, apart from the swage line, which I was gonna remove, but it's not a groove in the bumper, it's more of a step so a lot harder to remove. I did however chop the side vents out so they're functional and not just a naff looking mould added in.

Anyways, few pics for y'all. Sorry about the poo quality, I'll try get some decent ones soon enough though, but you get the idea.

I was never a fan of the grills on these bumpers.....can they be filled in? Also, does the swag line actually show on the inside of the bumper? If not, with a bit of sanding and filling the line could be removed. If it's molded to match the exterior, then it's a fill job. I'm interested in getting this bumper in the spring........


btw.....how was the fit?
