245/40-18's on a b6 a4?

im looking into buying some 18" rs4 reps with 245/40-18 but i heard from the guy other b6 a4 people have wanted them only to say they dont fit? could anyone on here help me out? if so pm me and tell me if they will work i wanna buy them this afternoon!

I just went with RS4 reps with 235/40/18 with a 35 offset and it sits very nice. The best thing is that I can use my 17" original spare without harming my tranny.
