I agree - its not in the fenders. The fenders actually look normal aside from the huge flares that I would imagine hide some pretty wide tires. Thus, the engine bay mus be quite similar to our own...

that's what i mean..not necessarily comforts..but strip out everything in your engine compartment to make room. Only leave necessary components for the engine, that's it.

Well I imagine the ABS pump and power steering would be affected, a/c lines run thru there also, those are the ones I was thinking about.

Man that car is far from a piece of shit. Its well done. Obviously a hill climbing car is going to have everything stripped out of it. I highly doubt the guy goes to pick up groceries in that thing. But all in all the body panels are straight and follow the lines of our cars, aside from the fenders.

I think it's pretty lame to think of something like that as a piece of shit, but to each their own. That is an unbelievable amount of work to do to get that end result.

I think a low mount twin setup similar to this would be the key to getting it to fit and keep all the luxurys of the car (sp, ac, etc).

eurob6 might be jealous, I was watching some show the other day, they mounted the turbos near the rear wheels because of the tight engine bay then ran the turbo piping all the way to the motor.... it would work but would be alot of work....

alright guys..im an idiot. I actually looked at the link and looked through the pics. For some reason when I was at work, I only saw the partially built car and thought it was the end result...oooopps, my bad. That's why I was wondering why everyone liked this thing. It's pretty sick looking. It's a nicely built car.
I still want to see an affordable SC for our cars. Affordable meaning less than 10k. I would be all over that.
