    hey can u find out what they did cause i usually just use my high valve but I think my evaporator is leaking so i'm going to change that out but i would need to put in freon after that and the shops I toke it to couldn't figure anything out they just used the high side by the radiator. I have the same 96 A4. I figured you had to do something with the Low Pressure Switch but couldn't figure out what

    yeah I ended up finding the low valve but the freon attachment I had didnt fit so I went to the auto and bought an adapter kit which Im going to put on in an hour. You put it threw the high side? I was told not to do it that way, as to why I dont know, but was stressed to find the low valve. Ill let you know if the attachment works.

    You have to make the stem stick out more,then you can screw it on,after you unscrew the switch. thats how i got mine to work.
