    Thinking about Using REVO!!

    Hey guys just wanted to get some tips and advise about revo. I think i made my decision and going with Revo first thing thursday morning. Any suggestions ??????after the upgrade...........

    if you're going revo in the fort worth area, istook's motorsports is a really good place to go for revo. don istook knows his shit. what audi do you have?

    Hey thats where i'm going I've talked to don a lot before i made this decision, thanks, he does sound like he knows a lot about audi's. You know he use to race a the S4 's.

    Ohh i have the 1.8T A4 quattro. So far i've got only an aftermarket exhaust on it, and now the chip.

    heh i had a b6 1.8t quattro before and had don flash it. good stuff man. you definitely wont be disappointed. with the revo flash i never had any issues with it.

    Thanks i hope i don't have any problems, did you ever change the divervalve on it. I've read a lot of stuff on the diverter vlaves but i think i'm going to keep the stock on it for now?

    Finally got it done, its awesome the car runs great. I should have done this long time ago. i love it, i feel a big difference, thanks guys for all the advise.

    You probably should. 1.8T valves are pretty weak. Mine started to flutter couple of weeks after I got APR. Forged 007 is a very good valve. I had mine on for 2 years and I took it out and cleaned the dust off it still looked like new and the spring still had perfect tension. Resale value of them is very good too. I sold mine for $95.

    this should be moved to the B6 A4 forum.

    and yes get a DV....stock won't hold it....for long at least. the diaphram is weak on it. its not meant for the 16-18psi your running now. i sold my B6 A4 DV which is the as the B5 A4 DV for 40 bucks. I had an EVOMS one...always liked it. it was good up to 35psi if i recall.
