tip tranny diff A4 vs S4

I have an 04 A4 1.8t tip trans and I am interested to know what major diff there is between the S4 tranny and the A4 tranny? I am interested in making a big power gains but recently learned that my auto tranny is limited to around 275 hp. I thought maybe someone knew of a way I could beef up my trans to S4 status....but I have no idea how much this is going to cost.

I should have bought the S. HA HA

Levelten.com, upgraded torque converter and gears. They can built you a tip tranny to hold 600+ HP for around 3500

That is awesome info. I just called and they said that for somewhere in the range of $5000 he can build the tranny to my spec application in about 4-5 business days. Awesome.
