upper grill

i looked but didnt find anything so how do you remove the upper grill on the c5 a6's

carefully, no just kidding. open the hood, from the inside of the grill you need to unclip all the tabs on the top portion of the grill. Once this is done you can start to push the grill outwards, now face the grill from the front of the car, the grill should be loose, it pulls upward and outward. the hood release will get in the way and hold you up a bit, just wiggle it free of the grill and the grill should pop out

Its pretty hard, no joke, you really have to take your time. The grill is very delicate and if you push to hard on the clips they will break very fast! GL taking it out

It seriously only takes 30 seconds... but yes be careful.... I found best luck using fingers no tools

yup it came in today as i was pulling up

Hey Golf, thanks for asking. Lowers are 100% finished, came out with a clean RS6 look to them, just need to upgrade the fogs to HID to complete the look. Just waiting for my new(old) upper grille to arrive, so I can get started on having the upper match the lower

i swapped mine for a badgeless too.

main thing about removing grilles is to get all the tabs loose then they come out
