Is there a trick to clearing CEL's? I disconected the negative terminal, and its still throwing a cel after I changed the 02 sensor. I just want see if I fixed the problem or if it's something else.

If you disconnected the battery and waited lets say 10 mins and then you still had the CEL you potentially did not fix the problem. Try and get your car scanned to further your diagnosis.

not too sure if it will clear codes, but it will give you a low terminal voltage code.
