    H&R+Bilstein or Koni FSD+Eibach ???

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Just what it says, i will be buying either the H&R+Bilstien or Koni FSD+Eibach kit within the next week, i live in PA and the roads are very very very bad, and i will be going with 19x8.5 ET38mm , and 235/35/19 tires , so i know a few of you have either one or has had both kits, so give me some info, to what you would do, with shitty roads and big pot holes, thanks guys.

Between the 2 kits - I would go with the Eibach / Koni FSD kit. The FSDs work as advertised, improved handling and a comfortable ride. Depending on the size of the potholes; having 35 series tires would require care and fairly good pothole dodging skills.

    ^ +1

    What he said.

I'm running FSD's on stock springs due to my 4.2Q not recommended to be lowered with the Koni's. Very manageable ride as a daily driver.

I'm not racing the car and taking turns at drifting speeds, but combined with the H-Sports Sways, it handles very nicely when taking corners or offramps.

    Re: H&R+Bilstein or Koni FSD+Eibach ???

^ vague questions, really depdends on your wheel/tire sizes... and all.
I have the FSD's with Eibach and had Koni Sport/yellows with H&R before. The current set up is higher, especially in the frear but still pretty low in front. Also b/c it is a softer suspension under normal driving and when going over bumps for comfort and it is higher, you will have more travel.
    My car rubbed with 245/40/18 on my 18 X 8 ET35 RS4 DTM.
It hardly rubs now with 235/40/18.

I had 19's before with my lower Koni Sport/H&R set up and they rubbed a little against the liner (19 X 8.5 Et38, 245/35/19) but nothing alarming.

    Re: H&R+Bilstein or Koni FSD+Eibach ???

    Don't think so.
May be a light rub under heavy loads and and it would most likely only rub against the liner not fenders.

    That white wagon is hot!
