Many of you may or may not know my setup, it is developed by AutoSpeed and they are very close to releasing this setup in kit form. Prior to releasing the setup in kit form, some further software development needs to be completed.

AutoSpeed is looking for some people to help them finish developing the software for the B6 chassis. My car has been one such vehicle to help them out.

We have recently completed our move into our state of the art facility. We just installed our Mustang AWD Dyno and need to get some performance graphs for our turbo kit.

The prototyping for the kit was completed some time ago and now all that is left is the final dyno tuning and power graphs.

The ASP Kit consists of the following:
-ASP Investment Cast Manifold (Designed for Maximum Flow)
-GT28RS Turbo
-ASP Oil/Water/Boost Lines (Not separate fittings and push ons like others) but rather pre-made teflon-stainless braided AN crimped fittings for a guaranteed leak proof connection
-ASP Silicon Inlet Hose
-ITG Intake Filter
-ASP CNC MAF Housing
-Fuel Injectors
-ASP Downpipe with 200cpi Metallic Substrate
-ASP FMIC with Powder Coated Aluminum Tubing, TBolt Clamps
-Power Steering Cooler


Preliminary Testing has shown power output to be approx 300whp on 93 Octane, mid 300's on Race Fuel. Thats approx 384chp on 93 Octane!

Yes, there is a B5 version. I'm not sure if the special pricing is available for the B5s for I know AutoSpeed does have a B5 file. Not sure if more B5 testing is needed. Let me know if you're interested.

Correct. Everything is staying except I'm swapping out the 28RS for a 2871R. You won't even notice a visible difference. My 2.0 will also be tuned by ASP.

Exactly! The APR 3+ doesn't give you a FMIC. Esp a FMIC that also includes a new power steering cooler like this one . I actually like it better than the RaceTec I used to have.

Oh, I forgot to mention the FMIC is available outside the GT28RS kit.

Some specs on the FMIC:

The kit comes with FMIC measuring (18"W x 10.25"H x 2.25"D) Bar and plate core (415.125in3). The core has 15 charge rows and features cast end tank with ultra smooth internals. The kit includes an upgraded Power steering cooler. Absolutely no modifications are need to the OEM bumper at all!

Slight clearancing is needed to the radiator shroud.

All piping is black powder coated alumuinum. High quality ASP silicon and tbolt clamps are used for all charge connections.

Its all dependent on their schedule and I know they are super busy with GT B5 S4 builds right now. To be safe I'd suggest a minimum of two weeks. And that's me throwing out a conservative estimate not knowing exactly what's going on at the shop (I haven't physically been there since February).

If you want to pay to ship the car over to New Jersey I don't see why not. One of Mark's buddies has a bunch of his cars from the UK over here. Including a very clean (and first of its kind) MKI VW Carbrio right hand drive with 1.8T in it .

Once the software is completed the entire kit (with ECU flash) will be available for sale and can be shipped anywhere. You can then install it yourself or get a trusted Audi/VW mechanic to do the work.

This is a complete bolt-in system. There is no custom fitting necessary. You get everything 100% that will fit up perfectly and won't have to go searching around for bolts here and clamps there. A very comprehensive kit.

350 will be nice. I'm not worried about the numbers. They will fall out to what they are when we're done. I'm just happy with what I've pieced together. S**t. I'm happy with my 1.8T and GT28RS but we all know the new build will be even better. Definitely excited. I can't wait for the day I drive over to RI to pick up my engine and have my car in pieces in my driveway swapping everything over. I thoroughly enjoy doing this stuff as much as I love racing my mountain bike for hours on end.
