Nice deal! I recommend posting a sample of what each film looks like (darkness) because people will be asking anyway

    Hubert,

I am assuming with the package, we can get different colors? Clear headlights and yellow fogs for example?

could someone provide somewhat unbiased comparison between Lamin-X and 3M Clear Bra for the front bumper and hood?
I'm looking into getting it done on my car, but haven't been able to find any comparisons between them.

    Hubert.
I'm in the same industry as you. I also develop my own headlight & taillight kits for several different vehicles. I haven't heard anything good about Lamin-X. I've had to deal with a lot of "Does your kit fit like the Lamin-X kit, because that kit fits like crap".

Also, we all know that 3M sucks as far as Clear Bra material. Does Lamin-X make their own material? I use Ventureshield, and I love it.

Re: **Lamin-x now at Supreme Power!**

Well, I've been selling the Lamin-x kits for 3 solid years. Here and the other shop that I once represented. I can tell you that the only "fitment" issue ive dealt with, would be the extra tabs that needs to be cut after installation.

This is coming from my point of view as I do the personal installs on all headlight/foglight/tailight kits here and other. From VW, BMW, Audi, Lexus, Mercedes, Jeep, Ford, etc. I personally run these on all my vehicles and more.

Curious, where are these people buying their kits from? Correct part# ordered or more? I know IF there were problems, Lamin-x would indeed take care of it, especially if it were purchased through us.

Of course what you've said can be here say as well- The internet is amazing and more sometimes.

that looks pretty good and it might look better on my deep sea blue. only concern at this point, will it lower my light output with factory xenons? more so than just clear?

  27. #27

Re: **Lamin-x now at Supreme Power!**

It would look very good on that deep sea blue, though it would take some of the light output away, when compared to clear or yellow.

Agree lamin-x on my old B7 fit just fine and looked great. I had a nice e-mail conversation with the owner of Lamin-x (Justin, i think?) and he really cares about customer service and is a good guy.

Also, you can't go wrong with Supreme Power Parts.. if I had known at the time they were a lamin-x dealer I would have called Eric for it, for sure.

If you guys are ordering precut head/tailight kits don't forget to throw in some standard rectangular sheets to get your sidemarkers! Just cut out a slightly oversize rectangle, apply, and trim around: http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...n-x+sidemarker
