    grinding-whooshing noise

    Hi All,

    i have a problem, my audi a4 1.9tdi is making a grinding/hissing noise it happens when i press the accelerator mostly in 3rd/4th gear. when i take my foot off the acellerator the noise stops? any ideas whats making it?

    TDI stands for turbo diesel , turbo diesels are more common in europe.
