License Plate Holder Borrow??

Hey guys..

I just got a parking ticket for not having a front license plate b/c of the filler.. Anyone in (North) Orange County have a holder I can borrow in the next week to get it signed off? Let me know.

This is for a b7 a4.

I heard about this. You need to keep the plate with you and put it on your dash when you park. It's lame. Get one from the dealer, the should hook you up.

you can just zip tie the front plate, its a parking ticket doesnt have to be corrected i believe.

I think quattro is right, it's just a fine now, not a correctable violation. That's why you keep the plate with you and put it on the dash when you park.

i did this and got my ticket signed off.. paid $10 for processing. took it off right after.

it is correctable.

even if you got it on the dash you can still get a ticket, it has to be in the front of the car not dash. From what the police have told me

"i have never got pulled over with it on the dash -> not yet"

No you will still get a ticket even if placed on the dash -- if you don't believe me, just leave your car parked in Lot C at LAX. Guaranteed.

I got pulled over for no front plate the other day. I thought not having a rear plate would help, but obviously did not.

i've never gotten pulled over for my front plates, its ironic that the only time i get a ticket is parked... in front of my house.

LA is horrible with the front license tickets. I got 2 tickets on 2 consecutive days on the same street parking in Ktown.

I have a bunch of oinker friends. LA parking patrol is really cracking down on the front plates because you cant receive tickets from cameras without your front plates on.

I just try to avoid LA altogether. Have the gf drive down to the OC =)
