    Boosting CD changer volume

I'm wondering if there's any way to boost the input volume of the CD changer. I have the Peripheral iPod adaptor in my car but when I use my iPod the volume is really low compared to the radio and CD player. The other day I had all the windows down and I actually reached the point where the volume was cranked the whole way up and it still wasn't loud enough. Is there any way to fix this?

its possible, but kinda getting to the point of not being worth it

check your itunes and maybe increase the sound level of all your mp3s

also check the eq settings on your ipod

beyond that I could make you a plug and play inline signal booster to go between your ipod kit and the car, the thing is it would probably be about 60% the cost of a new ipod kit

if its something you want to do send me a pm and I'll discuss it with you further

I was afraid of that. I reduced the volume of them all to around 89 dB so they wouldn't clip but I guess there's really no other way around it. I don't want to spend a ton of money fixing this. Thanks for the reply.

I don't think they will clip

remember the bottom output of the ipod isn't fully amped like the headphone port
