    Hey guys,

I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with this product.

I had something similar on my 350z and made about 12whp from it.

Is anyone here currently running this.

They also have an electronic fan that bypases the mechanical fan so that there is less load on the motor.

Once again, I did something similar like this on my Z and got some power.

There is just alot of different stuff on their site that I have never heard anyone on this forum mention before.

Can anyone share their experience please.

wow, i never knew they made one for the 4.2. next time my motor gets dropped for valve cover gaskets or whatever, im definetly going to look into this.

i had greta experience with a phenolic spacer on my turbo rabbit. after a hard run, i would still be able to place my hand on the intake manifold and keep it there. its incredible how well it works.

I didnt think there was a mechanical fan on the 4.2...just two electrical fans...

    Hey everyone,

I called the shop that makes this stuff. VAST Performance, they told me that all the stuff for that is labeled 4.2 v8 was designed for the 300hp V8 that was in the A6 or allroad.

He also informed me that they were in the process of creating something to reflash ECU so you can get the car custom tuned. That idea got me excited becuase I was honeslty thinking of running shot of nitrous on this car out of frustration for the lack of aftermarket.

So, if they learn how to reprogramm ECU I think I will be purchasing a bottle and getting a custom tune.

Ill keep you guys updated, So unfortunatly this whole thread will be useless becasue obviously I was asking about parts that were not made for our engine.

Sorry to get everyone excited over nothing.

Yeah I quickly figured out which V8 they were talking about after reviewing their site...

Yea everything on their website is for the 00-04 A6 4.2. I don't know why the phenolic spacers wouldn't work though.
