HELP!! ESP and EPC light came on got this error HELP!!!

So I was driving home last night and was braking at a light and then the car just acted funny, then the EPC light came on. So I pulled over and just let my car sit in the off position for a few minutes, cleared the codes using the cruise control feature and then drove home. No issues after that.

Pulled the VAG out and diagnosed and got this error:

17953 throttle valve controller malfunction.

P1545002 lower limit exceeded

anyway going to take the throttle body a part tonight and clean it, but wanted input on whether or not I will need to replace the sensor

A similar thing happened to me...was it raining when this happened?

For me my car went into a limp mode that after I cleared codes I could drive. I'm pretty sure it had to do with water getting into my ECU or TB. Try cleaning your TB first like you said. If you need a TB let me know I can sell you the one I have for alot less then what I paid.

I'm going to disconnect the battery to get a full reset and see how that works out

That would then throw a brake light error

Yup - cleaned it up and the TB is shot. Thanks to MTBrider I will be going with the VR6 Throttle Body using the 034 Motorsports adapter plate
