    Boost leak?

First off I don't have a boost gauge and will be getting one. On to the issue. I was sitting in traffic using tiptronic. The light turned green I accelerated shifted to 2nd and felt this HUGE lag before the turbo finally spooled up and continued on. DV was changed 8 months ago, do I have to check it for maintenance? The car has a new engine in it and a new turbo along with a Stage 1 APR. The car ran like a champ when I got it and as slowly laged more and more.

    Perhaps you answered your question?

    Sitting in traffic.

    25 Degree weather....

Otherwise would be wise to find a vag-com and data log it and go for a run and test it that way. I'll see if I can figure out how to data log on mine...ive never done it though but ive been feeling bad lag recently as well. I have a feeling its the weather and the plat plugs

Who is this? lol. it was my first full stop at a light. No more than 2 minutes. It feels like a leak, because the turbo wound up hard after about 3-5 seconds and pulled to 3rd. It has been getting worse with warmer weather, but it should never be that laggy.

I'd check your diverter valve and maybe even your coilpacks.

I'm going to check all of the above. I think they changed the name to Crystal Blue Metallic. It's a Silvery Blue. I'll have pics up next week.

Found a picture of one online
