i am looking at this led license plate bulb in 42 draft design..
    14.5v 39mm Fuse Style LED
    (http://www.42draftdesigns.com/catego.../leds_fuse.htm)

Before purchasing, i saw a red colored sentence stating that it is not recommended for b6+ owners to get these bulbs.
I have a b7.. so is it really not recommended for me buying these bulbs?

What kind of brand i should go to avoid flicker and die outs??
    thank you

    Re: led license plate

It looks like without a resistor these bulbs will throw a CEL. I went with the Hoen bulbs http://www.hoen-usa.com/index.htm and they are perfect, no worries about throwing a CEL. Also when removing the bulbs be very careful not to strip the screws. use a 90 degree screwdriver. i did and it was PITA to correct.
