    kiev,

Did you figure it out yet? Are you refering to the cylinder being stuck pushed all the way out and not being able to get it back in for new pads?

Actually that thing is usually really hard to push in. I saw my tech do it for my 6 and he used a huge size tool to push it in, and he had a hard time especially because he forgot to release the hand brake first... And I mean the tool he used was not the type that most of us keep in our tool boxes for sure...

Do you have the screw in type? I had this problem mine. Just bought that cheap 3/8" drive universal brake tool at auto zone. Push really hard and twist clockwise. It seems like I tried for a while and it just sucked. Then it finally threaded in and it was a piece of cake after that. Here's a pic of the tool. Good luck.

ahhh. So there is a special tool for this. A little spendy. Probably cheaper TO take it in every time.

Andrey, this is the type you really need:

    http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...emnumber=40732

The first time I tried to do my rear pads/rotors on my A4 several years ago, I discovered quickly that the little cube can't apply the extra pressure needed to get that piston to go back in.

For $25, you get a whole case of different adapters and you'll have it for life..
