    Repainting wheels

I was wondering what the process is in getting wheel professionally done. I have the gunmetal Flik justices, they contrast well with the silver, but I been trying to get away from the tuner look and more into the classy euro look (oem). I figure that if the wheels were silver it wouldnt stand out as much...
Saw this s4 with the silver justices

Thats classy. How would I go about changing up the color, is this a powder coat process, or just sanding and painting. It would have to be professionaly done, How much am I looking at? thanks

dude, justices are extremely inexpesive...like 100-150$ a wheel.... sell you set for 250-300$ and buy a brand new set for 4-600$ in silver

to have your wheels painted professionally it would prolly set you back 3-500$

the alternative is a DIY, which i rarely see come out perfect, but it can be done....

    Re: Repainting wheels

having had my superlegg's refinished at a 'wheel refinisher' if i were to do it again i'd just take them to a powdercoater. any p/c shop should be able to do all 4 wheels for a few 100$.

i also wouldn't bother with paint. i did from a very well reputed shop and they started flaking almost immediately. i took them back, the shop at the labor and powdercoated them for me and they're holding up great.

your link is to a Passat, not an S4.

I painted mine with the good ol' Rattle Can. BUT I don't give a shit what they look like. Get 'em powercoated by a professional, and call it a day. selling those and buying new isn't a bad option either.
