9 & 10 inch wide is going to be hard on the allroad. There are some issues of fender clearance and front strut that wide. Keep in mind, your stock offset is between 20-25mm, so 90% of the rims you want will require spacers.

Personally I don't twists will look good on the allroad, but that's a taste thing. I like choice #2 much better and I love the look of your stealth allroad -- very nice.

If you are doing Porsche twists and want to avoid having to use adapters you could try set of Hartmann wheels. They have a set with 35mm offset and 5 X 112 8.5 wide...

Now, I thought that AR's had the large front calipers as well and needed 35mm spacing up front???

It would be interesting to se how they look on an AR...!

I think you have offset backwards -- lower offset = wheel pushed out to the fender more. To get 35mm wheels to work, you would need at least a 10mm spacer. 17" wheels will clear the calipers (stock wheels are 17x7.5 et 20 or 25 depending on wheel). I've seen people fit 18x9 on the allroad, but it was very very tight.

Definitely call Hartmann though, they can come up with a correct fitment package for you incl wheels, spacers and longer bolts.

Yup, thanks for clarifying. And I think hartmann has the best wheels and great value as well. Is the group by still going on? Check the group buy forum, Gigi got that started...

Re: Porsche Twists on Allroad suggestions?

We have the 5x112 twists on sale currently as well, 15mm spacers would be perfect for the allroad.
If you want to try the 10" Porsche there is a 18x10.0" ET55, with H&R 15mm adapters would put you at 10" ET40 which is about equivalent to an 8.0" wheel with an ET15 offset which should be fine for outside clearance, not sure about inside clearance though. You'd probably want to run a 275-40-18.

Re: Porsche Twists on Allroad suggestions?

Pretty sure you'd have a problem on the inside clearance. Others have reported tight fit to front strut with 9.5" wide rims. In the particular case I know of, the wheel had a 35mm offset -- 20mm spacer was very close to outside fender, but workable, same wheel with a 15mm spacer was too close to front strut to run safely.
