    engine cooling/very hot

I'm new to these cars, I've found that the engine gets real hot and takes ages to cool down. I've heard the high temps is what kills the turbos, is there any way to help cooling in the engine bay? Improve airflow?

IF you are really beating on your car and heating up the turbos, give the car some time to cool down before shutting her down. Drive at low RPM's for a few miles or let it idle with the hood open.

Or you could mod your front wheel well by installing the RS6 vent.

I've heard of people installing different temp sensors in there, but the usefulness of that mod is debatable.

    Re: engine cooling/very hot

Basically you cut a hole in the front of your wheel well and this vent covers that hole. Essentially it offers another place for heat to escape from the engine compartment.

Think of it as cross ventilation -- air in front through grill, heat pushed out the back. I don't think you will notice cooler oil temps, but prob faster cooldown.

I'll see if I can find the writeup tonight.
