on my 2001 A4 1.8T i'm having a problem with boost, i have a revo chip, the boost spikes to 20psi and starts droping and it only holds at aound 11-12 psi.

    any thoughts on this?

Stock diverter valve can't handle the boost from a chip so that could have a tear and be releasing boost if yours is still stock. If you upgraded then maybe you got unlucky and it failed somehow. The fact that it spikes at 20 makes me think the n75 is fine, what is your vacuum at? There could be a vacuum leak somewhere.

Like said before, if you are still stock DV change it to forge or another aftermarket. If you already have aftermarket make sure its clean and well lubed. It still spikes at 20 which tells us that the n75 is still working fine. check all your hoses and pipes. It could be a small tear on one that cannot hold the boost.

    Re: boost problems

Not at all trying to diss your Tune. Most of the people I know running REVO have issues. Stupid stuff like this. Did you try asking whoever installed it for you? Your Vac seems fine and you have the N75 upgrade.

    Re: boost problems

replaced my n75 valve and it is still the same.
could it be my dv, it is new but could it be it?
one thing that i noticed, after i replaced the N75 valve i took the car for a blast around the block, when i got back my manifold was glowing red, is that normal or is it indicating something???

    thank you
