Okay, the dealership is going to charge me $270.00 to swap out the grill. As I understand it the bumper needs to be taken off. my question is has anyone done this them self and how hard is it to do? How invole would it be to remove the grill and put it back on. Thanks!

[O_O]$270 just for labor? Damn! DIY man. Get a friend to help you with the bumper and and you should be good. I don't know how involved it is, but so many people on here have done it so it can't be $270 hard.

It's not to bad, I did mine all lone and it was my first time taking off the front bumper. I think it took me 2 to 2.5 hours from start to finish including putting the car on jack stands. I think the hardest part for me was connecting the washer lines back up while holding the bumper with one hand, if I had a second set of hands it would be even easier. On a scale of 1-5 and 1 being the easiest I would say it's a 2-2.5, just check out some of the DIY forums and you should be good. Save the money and spend it on some mods. Good luck.

This explains how to do it:

The hardest part is getting to the screws labeled A & B in those pictures. Once you've done it a few times you can take off the bumper without removing the wheels. No point in attempting that if you're not comfortable though.

Very easy. You definately do not need to take off the wheels. I just cranked them and folded back the wheel well cover, used a flashlight and a 6in extension and took the bolts out. I laid out an old blanket and didn't even unhook the washer lines, you do not need to. You can get the bumper off in about 10-15 min. The pics in that "how to" look much more complicated than it really is.

This looks easy and I am glad this post was created because maybe someone can clarify a few things for me.

How do I get to the bolts labeled C in that link?

I assume A and B are accessed by removing the fender liner, is that correct?

Yes. You can get to A & B from inside the fender by removing the liner. C can be seen from the top looking down at the grille. Just stand over the bumper and look down at where C is and you'll see it.

Thanks I will try and tackle this on the weekend. The rear bumper was pretty easy to remove so the front shouldn't be that hard.

Yes, shouldn't be too hard as long as you have the right tools. And as S-Fore stated, that walkthrough is overkill.
