I'm looking to restore the original silver look. Driver's seat is a bit dull after 4 years. Many thanks for any insight.

I just use some warm water and a mild soap, use one microfiber towel that is damp with the water and soap and use a dry microfiber to wipe dry. This works for my silver inserts with good results, as for steam I don't know. Go Sox.

To preserve the beauty of Alcantara®, we recommend that you clean the fabric regularly, avoiding energetic scrubbing and the use of steaming equipment.
For car upholstery you can use specific products, or - if they are not on hand - dust it with a soft cloth or sponge dampened with clean water. Wring it out well and clean all Alcantara® fabric, taking care not to wet the upholstery too deeply; dampen the cloth in clean water, wipe again, and allow to dry well overnight. The rejuvenate the fabric by brushing it delicately with a soft-bristled brush.

magic eraser fo the win. That's stuff is hard to beat.

I would do a magic eraser first then hit it with the second method.

Lol when the Alcantara website CLEARLY says DO NOT STEAM, why would you steam it and ruin it?
