What are the difference(s) in the early 99 doors and the 2000-2001 doors?

Re: A4 door difference (early 99 and 2000-01)

That was i was thinking too. The molding that goes across the door. Can the 2000-2001 door molding fit on 1999 and below doors though? I am asking because i need two doors for my driver side and found a nice deal on 2001 doors.
If i get the door, i would have to put on the old molding or covert the other side to the new molding. So i hope it can work.
