Re: Did I mess this up?

I have had 3 people try to pull my radio in the lsat week, just so I could get the damn numbers off the back, so I can get my 4 digit code.
    NO ONE can get it.
I had the shop I take my car to try it, an Audi tech who laughed when we told him we couldn't get it (he spent 30 minutesand nothing), and a stereo shop manager.
I am taking it today to a recommended installer who has assured me he could get it, so we'll see.
I HATE the fact that you can't just get the radio code from the VIN, like most other cars.
As far as putting the keys in backwards, I couldn't tell you buddy but I wish you the best of luck!

Re: Did I mess this up?

You need all 4 keys to get them out, not just 2.

The radio code is printed on a sticker by the spare tire too.

There is only one sticker by the spare tire and it lists the vin and shit like that.
There are 2 areas that have 4 digits so I am hoping that one of those is it.
I tried the one at the bottom, but screwed up and locked myself out for an hour, so..........
Man if I can get this damn thing to work again I will be so happy!
    Thanks for the tip!
