Steam Cleaning car wash?

What is the concensus on this sort of wash? I had it done this past weekend at a local place, and I liked the fact that they washed it by hand with this steam process and I didn't have to deal with rails etc. like at other car washes. Is this safe in the long run though? Opinions on these?

I've heard steam is bad.The water vapor is easier to penetrate into electrical connections.
