    Is there a DIY for changing window trim?

    Is there a DIY anywhere for changing window trim? I have black and i want to go to the silver/chrome , some people say it is a pain in the butt to do, i have not been able to find a DIY ( but admittedly i have not looked very hard yet )

    If you know of one, please post a link, or if you've done it before, can you let me know what i'm in for?

    There was some talk about it and conclusion was that it was either too expensive or required tons of labor or risked damage to lots of components.

    i know one thing for sure thats required is breaking the rear quarter window glass.

    Has anyone tried masking the trim and preparing it well, and then coating it in black plasti-dip?
