Thanks for the kind words, you're project is definately coming along nicely as well. Last time I saw you're car you didn't have the Recaro's in, but definately a great add on to a car that's already phenominal.

I ordered an Exige S 240 and should be expecting it beginning of June. When I get it we'll go out for a cruise

I would want to sell the car as it, however if the buyer doesn't mind the stock headlights, I can take them off and sell them. They include HIDS in them as well with auto adjust and balancing. I'll keep you posted

The K04 is indefinately the best route to go if you looking to gain some decent power without much head aches of drivability, turbo lag, clutch replacements and other upgrades that needs to accommodate the new trubo. I ultimately chose the K04 over the GT28RS because of its proven track record, reliability, drivability, and practicallity. At the time there was only limited feedback on the GT28RS kit and I was worried about reliability and replacing the clutch. If you're looking for a small performance upgrade and don't want to upgrade your clutch, the K04 is a great alternative. Not the fastest set up but suffice amount power to have fun.

Yeah, I'm thinking about getting the GIAC K04 set up. I already have the Stage 5 clutch and all, but I'm just worried about doing internals and this becoming a 10k project instead of a 2-3 k project.

Great thing about the K04 is that it doesn't require any internal work to be done. Theres a lot of threads on how tough these 1.8T engines are. I've seen some guys push out 450WHP on stock internals so you don't have much to worry. Since you already have the clutch set up already, go with the K04 set up! You don't have to worry about reliability with internals, you're good to go.

Surprisingly enough, I drove the Exige in as a daily driver when I was over in Asia and it actually isn't that bad. Compared to the S1 models where they have a tendency to overheat when you have the AC on, the new S2's hold up fine! Stop and go traffic is fine, stock seats are comfortable thanks to the ergonomic design from ProBax, AC is sufficient, and its great on gas. As for winter, haha funny how you would even think of driving one of these in winter. Reminds me of my first Gallardo sighting in Canada where this guy drove it all season long.

ahha i figured ur a4 might be a nice winter beater for you,but your selling so maybe you had some crazy idea of driving it in the winter =D..although you dont even drive your a4 in the winter...haha

oh funny that you mention asia, I was visiting my uncle in Asia where I had the chance to drive a elise around for a week, it was fun but hell; which was why i thought DD'ing this car is going to be quite an accomplishment ..

As of now I still haven't decided whether or not I'll be parting out my car. I didn't want to because there is just WAY to much to take off of my car. But if I do I'll let you know ASAP. Thanks for looking

Haha damnit KYLE! I was looking through your threads to find out who you were. What's going on brother, are you sure you have the right number? If anything, I always get a mandarin women who's calling my phone asking for someone else. Call me sometime man, we'll go cruise or something. How's the car treating you man?

If I decide to part out my car, I'll let you know ASAP about the brakes

EDIT: About your SSK problem, I'm unsure whether or not you have the Neuspeed version but the same thing happened to me when I installed mine. I had very similar problems that you're experiencing and I couldn't stand it. I took it into Independent and had Bryan take a look at it for me and he fixed everything. Apparently it just takes a lot of trial and error to get it perfectly snug and buttery smooth, but give me a call, he fixed mine no problem.

I've called you 3 times and I keep getting that woman so I gave up. I couldn't communicate with her!

Let me take your new car out for a spin when you get it. You got a white one right?

My SSK is fine now, only 1st gear engagement is hard until the car warms up. I don't know I still find BMW drives better (hope no one sees this) hahaha.

Hey buddy its 416-858-5868. Call me next time when you want to go out or something! Its been too long since I've seen you. Yeah I ordered a white one, as soon as I break it in, its all yours. I'll be heading to Hong Kong around the same time as you, so we'll actually have some decent time to chill. You taking the wife back with you again or can we actually have some fun this time? JK, and I hope she doesn't see this

Call me crazy, but I definitely agree with you on the BMW's drive compared to Audi's. I guess its because we enjoy more of a harsh and rugid ride. M3 > RS4
