beautiful sti until i saw the interior im not bagging on the car i think its awesome and you can tell a lottt of money was spent but its just a shame subaru didnt take a little bit extra time and make the interior nicer

as for the 08 sti i much rather spend 35k on an bmw 135 then an sti and if they are both equally modded chip and exhaust i think the bimmer would take the sti (street race) not a track

yeah the ints are a joke on these and evo's, but there not marketing for interior just pure speed. But they could at least amp it up a bit with some cool rally options like adjusting the ecu like you can in the evos to tarmac, gravel, and snow, just little dool stuff like that is nice. and nav would be nice as well and always an option not just some limited edition.

yeah, its not that hard to make a nice interior, I think they were just not trying not to spend money and just use the same prior designs, but thats a lame excuse to drop 35k on a car and have no nav or really any accessories..not to mention they just fired their head designer that designed all the wrx's and made that company have sales. The new guy they hired that approved this new hatchback used a 2 year old design that isnt very attractive unless mod'd imo. way to go subaru.

I should get some pictures of the 06' up. Nothing done to it either than exhaust, tint and a drop in filter. It is such a beautiful car though. Such a blast to drive. You have to hear it to get a good feel for it.

The only thing I hate about that car, is the tailights. The 07's had those disgusting altezza style lights, thats why almost everyone swaps em for older gen tails. Other than that, the car is absolutely mindfuckingly awesome. And I used to dislike the 08's but they are starting to grow on me...Something I feel the new Evo X will never do...I have a thing for avants lol.

No, they weren't LED's
And HIDs = High Intensity Discharge headlights, that normally utilize xenon gas to create a much stronger beam/light output then normal halogen filled bulbs.

LED's = Light Emitting Diode, not used for headlights because they aren't as bright and are normally VERY tiny, for example, take your instrumentation cluster, that is being lit by LED's, and if they were HIDs you'd probably be blind.
